Sultry Oriental bar earns its stripes with South East Asian-inspired small plates and exotic cocktails.
Tigerlily is a contemporary cocktail bar serving Asian tapas, inspired by the cuisines of Thailand, India, China and Vietnam.
We wanted the branding to have a modern feel with a touch of the exotic countries the bar was influenced by. To do this we first studied traditional typography from those countries’ indigenous languages for inspiration.
We then took graphic details from those texts and blended them with a modern sans serif typeface to create a solution that is both unique and distinctive.
Additionally, we also created a standalone ‘T-lantern’ icon that could be used for more subtle sub-branding when needed. These two branding elements were then applied to everything from signage and menus, to uniforms and marketing collaterals.
