The creative design process made simple

STEP 1: Choose the design solutions you require and email your design brief to us.
STEP 2: We will call to discuss your design direction and you then place your 50% deposit.
STEP 3: Alchemist reverts with the design presentation within 10 working days.
STEP 4: Select your favourite design(s) or provide feedback for any design amendments.
STEP 5: Once a final design has been achieved and balance payment has be cleared, we send you the designs in high-resolution electronic formats.
STEP 6: Sit back and proudly admire your new company branding.


At the start of every process we ask for information about your company to be sent via email. Downloadable briefing documents are available on our contact page

  • Company name
  • The product or service you deal in
  • Your target market
  • Adjectives that best describe your brand attitude and positioning: expensive, modern, classic, affordable, dynamic, serious, fun etc
  • Are you looking for a text driven or icon based design. Or are you open to ideas?

You’re also welcome to send web links to companies who’s logos you like, and even styles of logos you definitely don’t like! The more information and ideas you have in mind the better it is for us to translate your vision into the final high quality logo you desire.


Based on the brief received and the 50% deposit has been transferred, within approximately ten working days we will email you three initial designs for your selection. These are a springboard to receive your feedback and develop the designs until you are completely satisfied with the final design.

Providing a high quality design service is very important to us.


Once you have approved the final designs and the 50% balance has been transferred, your logo will be prepared in a range of electronic file types and sent to you via email for immediate use.

Files you receive will be in the following formats:

  • Adobe Illustrator .ai
  • Portable Data File .pdf
  • Encapsulated PostScripts .eps
  • Joint Photographic Experts Group .jpeg
  • Portable Network Graphics .png
  • Photoshop Data .psd


Whilst most clients choose to undertake logo and business stationery as a combined initial order, stationery or a company strap line can be requested separately at a later stage of the process.

If your company moves premises and the address/telephone number needs changing on your business cards, letterhead etc, this is not an issue. Your files can be adjusted for a nominal fee and the new files sent via email.
