With Chairsmith dealing primarily in designer chairs, which can be perceived as quite cold sculptural objects, Alchemist wanted to give their branding a clean but slightly softer feel. This was achieved by the framing a logotype design in a subtle speech bubble, which gave it a more human touch and hinted at the personal service provided.
For their website design, we employed the use of splashes of muted pink to give a colourful relief from the often monochrome tones of the chairs and to assist in making the brand more accessible.
